Ceremony to honor the great professor Dr. Seyed Mohammad Qodsi at Shariati Hospital in Tehran

Professor Seyyed Mohammad Ghodsi, a neurosurgeon, was born in Tehran in 1955; he spent his childhood and adolescence in the Pamenar neighborhood of Tehran and studied at Dar Al-Fonun High School for 6 years.
He entered the medical field at the University of Tehran in 1972, then served his military service and draft from 1979 to 1982, and entered the field of neurosurgery in 1982.
Professor Ghodsi played an active role in treating warriors during the years of the Holy Defense and worked in war zones for a long time.
After graduating, he worked as a faculty member at Sina Hospital and completed a fellowship in skull base surgery in Germany for 3 years under the supervision of Professor Samiei.
Among his responsibilities are the director of Sina Hospital, the director of Tehran’s Emergency Department, the director of the Spinal Cord Injury Center, the vice president for research at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, and the director of the neurosurgery department at this university.
This veteran professor headed the neurosurgery department at Shariati Hospital since 2006 and served in the center until 2007.
